Cay Maria Adams

Cay Maria Adams, Cayce, as she is known, is largely self taught, always studying, learning and absorbing the world around her. She credits living in Europe for 7 years as a great influence. Upon returning to the States, her needlepoint designs for Erica Wilson were sold by the Pierpont Morgan Library and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Cay Maria recently relocated to Milford NJ, from Sag Harbor NY to concentrate on painting, emerging in oil. Much of her work has an impressionist, dreamy quality.
"""""""It is the essence of light, of life, that inspires me. A moment that could take a lifetime, and many layers, to see it's authenticity."
